On the scale of horrible things that Pat Robertson has done and said in his life, this is pretty low. Sure it's offensive, but not nearly so much as being chummy with murderous African dictators and funding their gold mining operations.

Robertson is such an over-the-top James Bond-style supervillain that it's hard for me to comprehend that he actually exists. He's the worst kind of scum on earth, and I will be very glad when he's dead.
