the workplace is not the correct location for this display, especially a 3x5 flag. that's much larger than would seem appropriate. perhaps a smaller flag that could sit upon a desk might be acceptable to the employer.

should every employee have the right to display a 3x5 flag of their choice in the office? it would result in a very strange work environment, not to mention how customers would see it.

patriotism isn't measured by the size of one's flag btw.
