yeah. I can't imagine why they are doing it other than they really believe they are in the right, and in a defensible position (that's a stretch, considering they've been firing the people involved), or they're trying to keep the tapes out of court or something (as illegally obtained evidence?).
I really think, though, that their sense of entitlement is so strong, they don't know the difference between right and wrong.
