I was wrong. He waived his bird rights in the trade is what someone was saying on another board. If that's the case the Mavs can't do anything about it but wish him well.
He got a good deal so I'm happy for him. Let's just hope the Mavs have something else in mind besides a Damp/Gooden center combo.
