I like the Zach Thomas move, although I agree it is a stop gap measure. The guy has a nose for the football. He doesn't have many years left though for sure. I think Burnett was going to beat out Akin this year anyway. I am beginning to think that Bradie, and Zack start inside, and Burnett takes Bradies place in the nickel. Akin, might be packaged.
Does Carpenter have trade value? Fascano?
IMO, these are the two young players that don't seem to fit -- that you might be able to get something out of. Just a thought.
