there has been a smoking ban for a few years here in dallas, and it is wonderful, except that there is no real enforcement.

we would sometimes go to blue fish at frankford/tollway for sushi and you must walk thru the bar to get into the serving area. it always has smokers, and when I asked if they were aware of the ordinance they said it is up to the person not the restaurant, they were not the enforcers...and they were right.

we stopped going there btw. the free market does work.
