Things could change as soon as February. If we were among the three best teams in the conference and New Orleans only good enough for something like 8th place, Paul would most likely think about trying his luck somewhere else again, e.g. in Dallas. Our expiring contracts are more valuable at that point anyway. That said, New Orleans could certainly try and package Peja/Collison, who are perhaps just as valuable as Butler/Roddy, to bring in an impact player like Iggy to appease CP3. Okafor/West/Iggy/Thornton/CP3 isn't bad at all and maybe even better than the team that beat us two years ago in the playoffs.
