Berrian isn't being franchised. That is who I would go after hot and heavy. 71 receptions and almost a thousand yards this year with the equivalent of a turd throwing the football to him. He is only 27 and would make one hell of a #2 behind TO. When TO leaves he could step into the #1 spot while Crayton and the WR we pick in round 1 or 2 of this draft moves his way up our depth chart, (Sweed possibly).

Berrian is not a #1 receiver... i think he'd be a good #2, but this guy has hands of stone. Not saying that Rex/Griese were awesome but the Bears problems extended beyond the qb position and Berrian had his share of miscues...
