Okay...I finally looked at this article. From CNN so why would I expect less.
"
In fact, since 9/11 extremists affiliated with a variety of far-right wing ideologies, including white supremacists, anti-abortion extremists and anti-government militants, have killed more people in the United States than have extremists motivated by al Qaeda's ideology. According to a count by the New America Foundation, right wing extremists have killed 34 people in the United States for political reasons since 9/11. (The total includes the latest shootings in Kansas, which are being
classified as a hate crime).
By contrast, terrorists motivated by al Qaeda's ideology have killed 21 people in the United States since 9/11."
A very clever numbers game. First you leave out 3K on 9/11. They you count acts up since there (13 years) and come up with
Right-wing-"terrorists" - 34
Islamic "terrorists" - 21..
The numbers are so miniscule as to be ridiculous. 34 of ANYTHING in 13 years in a country of 300million is a pimple on the butt.
I'm curious however if they include the ft. hood shootings? "fatally shot 13 people and injured more than 30 others."
