Diop is an up-and-coming center, while Croshere's contract comes off the books after the season and we'll need that dough for Howard's contract extension. Camby has NEVER played a full season. The closest he has come is 72 games in '03-'04. Plus, I doubt he would enjoy only being played "sparingly" to preserve his health.
