Skinner signs one-year deal

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Forward Brian Skinner signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-9, 265-pound Skinner averaged 3.4 points and 4.3 rebounds in 65 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers last year. The four-year veteran has career averages of 4.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
Skinner, a first-round pick of the Los Angeles Clippers in 1998, is expected to back up Derrick Coleman.
