This is what worries me. He signed so quick that he had to get 1) More money or years than he's worth 2) A promise that the starting job would be his 3) Both.

I'm hoping it's 2 rather than all of the above. It was a bit wierd how he signed only a day after he was cut. You mean to tell me there were no other takers for him? If there was then like you said he recieved a deal he couldn't refuse.
