I don't think Palin has much of a problem with herself being attacked, but it's been a pretty dark day imo, in our political system when attacking someones children has become justified.

what "attacks" of palin's kids are you referring to?
what I've read are jokes about the teen pregnancy, and after all palin has been an outspoken advocate of abstinence as the solution to teen pregnancy so the irony is pretty obvious. btw are jokes about a kid's actual behavior "attacks"?
the photoshop incident with the down's kid wasn't an attack on the the kid, it was a parody of palin's supporter burke (who had his impage placed as her baby).
