Nico should already have shored up the back up Center spot. He has made some good moves but we still have a smaller version of the same problem except we have inched closer to contention and its stilla very relevant peoblem. If we just got a versitile big who could play 4/5, rebound and defend it would be a big help. D fn p is and never will be that guy.
Backup center should have been one of the easiest positions to fill in the offseason and Nico re-signed one of the worst.

Knowing the west has a plethora of decent centers that Powell would get brutalized by, and not knowing Lively would vastly overachieve, it seemed reckless and irresponsible to not have some type of decent backup plan at center.
And it didn't make any sense to me to let McGee go and re-sign Powell to basically take his spot.
We are damn lucky Lively developed into a legit starting center so quickly otherwise Powell would have been our starter again.

Nico has made some decent moves, but re-signing Powell is a major head-scratcher.
