In fact, that is not what Dirk said. He said young Bargnani was "more athletic than [he] ever was." He didn't say anything about Bargnani being better overall, which would have been ludicrous. But he is clearly saying (and implying) that about Durant. Not the same thing.

I find it pretty ironic that people think they're somehow defending Dirk by essentially saying that he's either 1) wrong, or 2) disingenuous.
