It would kick the rebuild into overdrive and allow the Mavs to have a TON of money coming off the books in 2 years. The Mavs would easily be able to attract free agents with Dennis, Doncic, Bamba (my preference) all with 2-3 years experience (and still on their rookie contracts) and $60-$70 mil in cap space.
