If he had done that his rookie season and greatly improved upon that throughout his career, then he would not be considered a bust. The 4 BPG's are very impressive, but the scoring and rebounding is quite pedestrian for the standards he was expected to live up to, fairly or not. Yes, he did average those numbers one season. That's hardly living up to the expectations of being drafted 2nd overall between Chris Webber and Penny Hardaway. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy, but he's a definite career bust.
