EDIT: Some people are confused (as confused as Trump, it seems) about what a Purple Heart is and why wouldn't you say "Congratulations" for receiving it. Well, as Wikipedia explains: "The Purple Heart is a United States military decoration awarded in the name of the President to those wounded or killed while serving". You don't congratulate someone when you're giving them this. You thank them. You thank them for their sacrifice.
