I read The Dark Tower many many years ago...1991?? Anyway, LOVED IT, but the second book fell flat and I never finished the series.. so I started reading The Stand in high school and had to hire a book caddy to carry it around my classes for me..
I am currently reading With The Old Breed by E.B. Sledge preparing myself for The Pacific..
I still recommend The Road... fanboys are starving for the movie, but I am skeptical now that I have seen the trailer.
