Boss: How about you prep _______ demo?

Me: The last time you actually sent me on a demo was months ago. Asking me to prep for a standard demo now and not having me actually do the demo until months from now just means I'm going to forget it and need to learn it again later. It's a waste of time. Actually, a lot of the stuff you ask me to do is a waste of time. I feel very underutilized.

Boss: That sounds... bad. (pause) I don't know what to do.
