We need another cornerstone player. We also aren't privy to RC's thinking. If he's sticking around another 5 years or so get a guy who fits his style and system. How much value does a traditional big like Bamba still hold? Even Gobert, as great as he is, needs a system designed around his strengths. Is Miles Bridges a more athletic, better playmaking Otto Porter? Can he eventually be a 38-41% NBA 3 point shooter? Will Wendell Carter develop his ancillary offensive game(passing, faceup)and defense ala Horford enough to make him a fringe All-Star type. Jaren Jackson seems to have Myles Turner-like potential.

I think there are plenty of excellent secondary prospects so finishing top 9 wouldn't be a disaster. But it'd be so much nicer to have a shot at one of the top-4, all of whom possess franchise altering potential. Hope we can find a way to maximize ping-pong balls and get lucky.
