Hopefully Kidd has had some time to think over the rotation and lineups. It's one game but a LOT to learn from there. For one, Mavs had NO plan once Dinwiddie picked up his 4th (TACKY!) foul. That was when it all started falling apart in the 3rd quarter. We can point to similar struggles last year but you're kidding yourself if that wasn't the biggest key turning point in this game.

Plenty to get excited about, but still lingering questions when it comes to that 3rd option. I have no idea why Hardy wasn't at the ready if Dinwiddie picked up an early foul. They must not have had him in the rotational game plan, but that they easy option given what happened and not having Frank, who Hardy has been playing over regardless. When that happened, Mavs still had a 17 point lead so if that moment is too big for the kid, then that worries me more moving forward.

All in all, you CANNOT play Luka and Wood together for only ~15 minutes. The clear and away two best players on this team so make it happen.
