BBL, that's pretty much what I read into the movie, as well. Except I see it more in a melancholy, Walter Mitty-esque "what my life could have been" vein. I love how you get sucked into that first plot-- with its beautiful film noir storyline and cinematography-- and then it's quickly and brutally juxtaposed with her life's ugly reality. And I thought it especially brilliant how all the characters, objects, etc. from her real life are mixed up, in the wrong places, misnamed etc. in her dream-- just like real dreams are...

To your second point-- most girls aren't into two hot guys getting it on. What gives?
