There are only 2 scenarios I envision that Kaman doesn't become a long lasting pillar for the Mavs: 1. Health Issues. 2. They use him as trade asset to acquire a player they consider a real "star". Both of these scenarios I see as VERY possible, but other than that, Kaman is a high level "actual" Center.
