Well, we're going to have to make a tough decision soon on a few thousand deaths versus a great depression. Which one will have a worse effect? You can't realistically shut down the planet for three months and then just turn the lights back on. Businesses are going to have to re-open sooner than that.

My hope is that we can come out with some medications that will combat the severe symptoms of the disease so that we can manage it for now. If you can get the mortality rate below 1%, then that would at least be something positive.
