Now the Mavs need to improve to make that pick mediocre for Atlanta or get really bad so it's a top 5 pick.
Won't do much good to get a young star if the Mavs can't put anything around him. Losing that pick next season could really hurt. Even worse that the Mavs had to give it up to pick where they
should have been picking the whole time. Here's hoping we don't have to hope the lottery gets the Mavs into the top 5 because we know how that works out for them.
