When has dirk ever been the face of this team. He's a batman that has always tried to be low profile. If anything he's done his best not to be the face. He's one of only an few superstars that wants to make his play do the talking while having no public persona.
If Howard wants to get the publicity and all that then let him. I don't think dirk would mind one bit.
