oh, left texas - thanks for the rec on the Zi8. I have been checking that out, too. I have always wondered about those small camcorders. A friend of mine has a flip and says they like it.
I've done a little research and Zi8 seems to come out ahead of Flip. I saw Kodak has a new, more durable (and waterproof), cheaper option coming in April - the Kodak Playsport.
