PF Antoine Walker (16.1 ppg, 9.5 rpg, 5.4 apg in 38.2 minutes)
Dallas receives: PF Kwame Brown (9.4 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 1.5 apg in 26.6 minutes)

C Brendan Haywood (5.8 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 0.5 apg in 16.7 minutes)

Change in team outlook: -1.6 ppg, -6.3 rpg, and +1.2 apg.

TRADE ACCEPTED

Dallas' New Line-up:

Brendan Haywood/Kwame Brown/Shawn Bradley
Dirk Nowitzki/Kwame Brown/Christian Laettner
Antawn Jamison/Josh Howard/Christian Laettner
Michael Finley/Josh Howard
Steve Nash/Brevin Knight

Haywood and Brown are promising young 7-footers, and Knight is an excellent back-up point. Washington gets an excellent starting line-up for next year, after their best players come back from injury:

Etan Thomas
Antoine Walker
Jerry Stackhouse
Larry Hughes
Gilbert Arenas

That line-up would be pretty competitive in the east.

I may be violating the "sweet-heart" rule, because we give up the biggest tallent in Walker. But are two up-and-coming 7-footers worth it? Kwame Brown wasn't worth a #1 pick, but he's still a talented big man who could probably give us 10/8 and a block or two. Haywood is a good rebounder, shot-blocker, and low-post defender. Both will only get better.

"How do it know?" queried the ever eccentric Nelson. When you put something hot in it, it stays hot. When you put something cold in it, it stays cold. "How do it know?"
