A few debuts I like:

Portishead- Dummy (basically invented Trip Hop)

Tricky- Maxinequaye (Perfect but all down hill for Tricky from here)

DJ Shadow- Entroducing......(hip hop is better without all that rappin)

Eric B and Rakim- Paid in Full (Eric B kicks the crap out of Eminem as does U2's pick Eazy E)

Public Enemy- It Takes a Nation of Millions (Flavor Flav rules and Chuck D kicks the crap out of Eminem again)
