In case people are forgetting, the Mavericks lost 7 straight games and I believe were 2-7 overall without Dirk in 2011. You know, the season they won the championship and rolled through the playoffs? If Jason Kidd, Chandler, Terry, and the rest of that veteran cast couldn't manage to play winning basketball without him (and if I remember it was against some pretty bad teams) I don't expect this young team to do it.

Be patient, wait until Dirk returns. When he's in shape and playing, and this team is still flawed as all hell, feel free to suggest tanking. But for now, we all have to just hold on, and believe me I understand the frustration.

In Dirk I trust.
