Default '92 NFC Championship Game

They just showed a review of the game on ESPN2 - great memories of that game but apparently my memory on the finer points is long gone. For example, totally forgot how rainy and muddy that game was - I remember of course it was at Candlestick but forgot how bad it was at times. Guys like Emmitt and Irvin and Newton had a bunch of mud of their jerseys - lol, Alvin Harpers looked brand new. James Washington for free safety anyone? He's a lot better than anything we've had since Woodson left. Irvin was quite a handful to deal with - the slant route was money for first downs over and over again.

One of the most memorable plays of the game - the pass to Harper near the end of the game... interestingly Aikman commented on how the play was actually supposed to be a slant to Irvin but the safety on Harper's side was cheating in to blitz. Aikman made the read and Harper got inside position - the man covering him whiffed on an arm tackle and 70 yards later we were first and goal.

quite a game even just seeing some highlights stirs memories... here's hoping we can make some noise this year.
