Exactly my thoughts. Even considering that many thought Melo wouldn't fit in Houston, now it doesn't make sense. Either the Rockets have moved on (they seem to be high on one of their two-way players), or Melo actually thinks he's still a star and deserves a prime role on whatever team. Thought he was just ring-chasing tbh. and HOU offered the best shot. Shrugs...
