RE: Questionable three way - Dal/LA/Sac
Odom's best position is PF, not SF. He's a bit on the small side for a 4, but he's a good enough rebounder, has enough length to compete defensively against opposing PF's, and his unusual offensive repertoire creates more problems for opponents in the frontcourt. Here's his +/- by position the last three years:
02/03 - SF (35% of the team minutes, -8.5); PF (6% of the team minutes, +11.3)
03/04 - SF (23% of the team minutes, -8.1); PF (52% of the team minutes, +5)
04/05 - SF (6% of the team minutes, -5.1); PF (50% of the team minutes, -1.6)
