I agree that Matthews contract is about right, maybe a little high. But, people are probably only looking at the playoffs which is not right because this team was demolished with injuries and Matthews was being asked to do things he normally wouldn't do. He's not a creator and I don't think he was one in Portland even before his injury. He should be a dead eye three point shooter and amazing defender ... which he is.
