Tired of him and his style of play?
First, we don't give up generational talent because you don't look watching him or you're tired of him.
Second, what might those 1st rounders end up being, given that we're giving said team Luka and they likely had other pieces, or they never would have made the trade. Mid first round or later? So, we give up Luka and get the Mavs back, minus Luka? (ie, bunch of decent players, with no real star)? I'd bet whoever we made that trade with would be better than the Mavs for a long time.
Third, what's wrong with his style of play. You don't like scoring? Assists? Rebounds? Getting everyone else good shots? Is it pace? Mavs can do most fast breaking AND keep Luka....seems that would be the better option?
