Schedule's coming out tomorrow (unless Smiles can snag us a copy )

But Heika has good news...

The Stars are hoping to release their preseason schedule today.

There's been a hangup with the last game against Edmonton as it was going head-to-head with a Cowboys game, so it needs to be moved.

The NHL is releasing highlights to the regular season schedule before the schedule is released tomorrow. Some interesting points include:

The season opener will be Oct. 10 at home against Columbus and coach Ken Hitchcock.

The three teams from the East that the Stars will play twice (remember, divisional rivals have been moved from eight meetings to six and each team will now play the other conference 18 times, thus three teams get two meetings) are: Florida, New Jersey and the NY Rangers. The Devils play the traditional New Year's Eve game in Dallas, while the Rangers will visit Feb. 6 and the Panthers will visit March 28.

Not released, but expected to be announced tomorrow is the fact that of the East teams visiting next season, both Pittsburgh (Sidney Crosby) and Washington (Alexander Ovechkin) will play in Dallas.
It's almost time to do this all again?

Spoooorts...
