That movie was missing only one thing, IMO. Bruce Campbell. Cast him instead of that guy who looked like a gay version of him and you've got a true classic.

My most recent viewings: Ong-Bak and Iron Monkey. If any of y'all can appreciate some good martial arts and haven't seen either of these I highly recommend them, though I don't believe Ong-Bak is out in most rental stores yet. My brother ran across it in some privately owned video store in Austin about a year or so before its US theatrical release and we bought it on ebay last year. The guy who plays the lead (Tony Jaa is how he's credited in the American release, but his real name is, I believe, Panom Yeerum) is freaking amazing - the whole movie's basically a showcase for him. For those who don't know Iron Monkey, one of the main characters is Donnie Yen, who plays Sky (the guy with the spear) in Hero.

Edit: Just saw the Anchorman mention. That movie is hilarious. What made it even funnier for me is that the depiction of the triviality of the San Diego local news (I live in San Diego) is actually almost accurate. Panda births, dog shows, and the kind of scattered showers that central Texans wouldn't even notice are big news out here.
