I am a huge Cormac McCarthy "fan", even though he doesn't like to have fans. With that being said, The Counselor was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The screen play didn't translate at all to the screen. You cannot expect the audience to be in constant interpretation mode. I took from the movie that people are bad and sometimes coincidences get you killed....and druglords are poets (obviously) Totally disappointed and we used an Alamo Drafthouse coupon to watch it.
