Mavs had a 3pt lead with 4 seconds left and forced a Lakers miss. You forced the miss. All you gotta do then is get the board and you win, but NOPE.

Then we had another 3pt lead with 2:26 left and then went 0-2 with a TO to dig our grave. Lakers took the lead and we just kept chucking hail mary threes which we WAY overperformed on vs. season stats.

Losing on a freak heave is way better than slowly drowning in mediocrity where we're good enough to ALMOST win, but winning enough against trash teams to make sure our draft picks are Josh Green 2.0 in the one year we have a first-round pick.
