He plays in a band called Blue October, they just recently played at HOB in dallas 2 weeks ago. He's a multi instrumentalist with a list that includes the mandolin, but his main playing is on the violin. Its artistic rock with Ryan integrating the violin and mandolin into the music, it's a type of music that i rarely hear of.
