I'm almost to the point of hoping we just pay Dirk $20+mil next season to make up all he has sacrificed and fill the team with guys 25 and under to play with him. We develop some youth while Dirk piles up numbers and we set ourselves up for a high lotto pick in 2017.
I know, sounds a lot like the Lakers but Kobe never sacrificed like Dirk has and they are in decent shape to get Simmons in the draft or trade for a budding superstar like Cousins....we have virtually nothing to look forward to.
