Bulls did that for just a couple mill.
Edit: Actually they only had 2.1 to send. They sent us 2mill and Bulls 1mill for MCW. Huh. There has to be more to that deal. Bulls aren't taking a 2.9 mill contract for 2.1 mill and no compensation.

They showed something on espn about it yesterday. I don’t remember the exact numbers, but Melo is being paid by 3 teams right now. Atlanta is paying a huge chunk $20+ mil, Houston around $1.5-2mil, and Chicago was right around $1 mil, so they netted a little cash I believe.
