I think this had a lot to do with Barea's ability to hit 3s over Mekel's ability to hit them. Nelson is the only one of our guards who has a better 3pt average than Barea. JJ will help spread the floor for Ellis, Parsons, Jefferson and others to work....perhaps to somewhat make up for the loss of Calderon.
