Don't look now, but the Mavericks have the league's second-best point differential (+10.4 PPG), compiled against a reasonably challenging schedule. Dallas is scoring 6.1 more points per 100 possessions than any other offense, equivalent to the difference between the second-ranked New Orleans Pelicans and league average. And the Mavericks' defense is hovering just outside the top 10. That's a great combination.
