I keep hearing expectations that Monte will miss approx. 2-3 months.
Thus far the Warriors have said they aren't going to punish him, but they laid
out a lot of cash for him ($66mil) and if this season is a bust they may decide to terminate
him.

The NBA insurance payoff is such that if a player misses >45 games the
policy will cover 80% of salary.

-But-

You would think that the insurance company would say that he violated his contract
and therefore doesn't have to pay.

This is going to get interesting. What an idiot.
