It's a long year, things happen, hopefully he'll see his value will grow here, hopefully us giving him a shot, doesn't price us out. Given the economy, doubt he can get more than the MLE, MLE for 3-4 years would be nice, give him an opt out after year 2 or 3, which ever would allow us Full Bird Rights. I also think having Kidd around would help the Mavs keep him around longer.
