Default RE:Is Dirk the best player in the league?

I wouldn't say that Dirk has caught KG or TD yet. But, I do believe that he's quickly catching up with Kobe, and I have no problem putting him ahead of McGrady. It's also possible that Shaq might not be as dominant as the Shaq that we're used to seeing. He hasn't appeared to be overly dominant yet this season...We'll have to wait and see how that turns out, but it is possible that Dirk could pass Shaq in my eyes along with passing Kobe.....but we'll also have to wait and see about Shaq and how he plays this year.

Now, I'm not saying that he will...but it is possible. It's also possible that LeBron at some point throws his name into the hat as being one of the top 5-6 players in the league if he continues to play at this level. Well, 'if' he plays at the level that he's currently playing at through just a handful of games, LeBron could leapfrog just about everyone.

But, we'll see. Dirk needs to rebound a bit better and block shots a bit more consistently in my opinion...
