I doubt the NBA will make any note of Dirk entering the Top 10 list, but 30 years ago when Kareem passed Wilt for 1st place,
they stopped the game and Utah fans gave Kareem a HUGE ovation. (Or maybe they were just applauding the sight of Mark Eaton in short shorts.)
I'm not a big admirer of Utah fans generally, but I would be a little surprised if they don't at least acknowledge Dirk with polite applause.
