It is hard to develop an offensive system around a big 3 when 2 of the 3 players operate in the same manner (ie. Wade/Lebron and Carmelo/Amare). Everyone tried to copy the Spurs yet only Boston got it right. None of the 3 operate in the same space on the floor. Allen comes off of screens and scores mainly from 16-23 foot range. Pierce is mainly in the 8-16ft range and has added the 3pt shot as he got older. Kevin was 12 ft and in and stretched his jump shot even further to 20ft. It also helped to a have natural PG.
